LAURA DOUGHTY-VOADEN Tailor / Costume Maker
I am a London based Tailor, originally from Devon. My experience includes an upper second class honours degree in Costume Design, and two internships in industry.
Having worked since 12, alongside my studies since the age of 15, I am very comfortable in professional environments. My skills lie in pattern drafting and technical construction, my keen eye for detail is apparent in my work.
Having grown up in a creative family, with my mum teaching me to sew at a young age, costume feels like a natural fit for me. Within my portfolio, you can see my interest in trying new styles and techniques, along with my passion for historical tailoring.​
